The ride
Every year, we ride an unreasonable number of miles and ask you to help support our crazy idea by making donations to help keep us pedaling. This year, it's four days and 350 miles. The money goes to neighbors on Chicago's north side who are at risk of arrest, detention, and deportation.
You don't have to ride, but it would be great if you gave.

Where the money goes
The Immigrant Solidarity Fund provides emergency financial assistance to immigrant families most at risk.
- HousingRent when a paycheck disappears overnight.
- FoodGroceries for families who can't safely go out.
- Legal supportRepresentation when it matters most.
- Health careMedical and mental health care, for what all of this does to a family.
Families should be together and have what they need to thrive.
Who we're riding for
The Immigrant Solidarity Fund was built by Protect Rogers Park and West Ridge Community Defense, two volunteer-run groups on the north side, in collaboration with Northside Community Resources and Living Water Church.
Money is stewarded by Northside Community Resources, a 501(c)(3). Funds get distributed through a community-led process, the same one that worked during the pandemic.
Who hosts the ride
Vicious Cycle is hosted by Bunk Agency, a branding agency in Chicago and Evansville. We started this ride in 2019, and we get to do it alongside our closest friends.
We've never needed the reason more than this year.
